There are approximately 1000 computers in this college, and the most is connected to the campus network which consists of an optical cable spread around within the campus.
The Campus Network is updated in april 2002 and highspeed transmission of information by Gigabit Ethernet is attained. The Network Information Center manages the central backbone of the Campus Network hosting 10 workstations which work such as E-mail, and www page site. 49 personal computers, which were renewed in 2005, are provided as terminals in the laboratory at Information Network Center, and 20 workstations work to management, and 48 renewal personal workstations are also provided in Computer Assisted Language Laboratory.
These computers are used for the programming exercise, the research computing and English learning. Moreover, the campus network is connected by a dedicated digital line to a wide area network which provides access to other academic and research institutes.
In such environment, all faculty members and students have access to high-spec host computers and Internet from any terminals or computers in the campus network, making most of the vast variety of information on Internet such as E-mail, www, etc.
The Space Collaboration System (SCS) is the facility to be used for distant education, research meetings, lectures, training sessions or other meetings by the space satellite relay among universities, national colleges and other national institutions. The center operates the following equipment to carry out observation of the surface and analysis of the structure of metals, alloys, crystals, thin films, etc.
>Scanning Electron Microscope with energy dispersive X-ray spectrometer and a three-dimensional measuring device, JSM-5310LV (JEOLLtd).
The maximum acceleration voltage is 30kv, and the resolution is 4nm.
>High resolution X-ray diffraction system X'PERT MRD, PANalytial
